A panel discussion featuring professional screenwriters Simon Kinberg ’95 (Mr. and Mrs. Smith, Jumper, X-Men: The Last Stand, the upcoming Sherlock Holmes), Scott Neustadter (500 Days of Summer, Pink Panther II) and Michael Weber (500 Days of Summer, Pink Panther II). These celebrated writers will outline the steps required to turn a basic idea into a polished feature-length script, and will offer insight on a wide array of other screenwriting topics, including: the challenges of writing a sequel; how to write memorable dialogue; the common mistakes writers make; and getting your foot in the Industry door.
