SIMON KINBERG
SIMON KINBERG graduated from Brown University, and received an MFA from Columbia University Film School. His thesis project for film school was the script for “Mr. and Mrs. Smith,” which starred Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, directed by Doug Liman.
Kinberg also wrote “X-Men: The Last Stand,” “XXX: State of the Union,” and wrote and produced “Jumper.”
Recently, Kinberg rewrote the script to “Sherlock Holmes,” starring Robert Downey Jr, directed by Guy Ritchie. He is currently writing “The Eighth Wonder” for Nicole Kidman, as well as “Hardy Men” starring Tom Cruise and Ben Stiller, “Spy vs Spy” for director David Dobkin, and adapting Robert Ludlum’s best-selling novel “Osterman Weekend” to direct.
In addition, Kinberg is producing “X-Men: First Class,” and an untitled film starring Jake Gyllenhaal, directed by Doug Liman.
